Picked the forest farm over the beach farm in Stardew, zero regrets

I spent a whole evening in January torn between the two layouts for my new playthrough. The beach farm looked so pretty in screenshots but I heard the sprinkler situation was rough early game. I went with the forest farm instead and honestly the extra hardwood plus the foraging spawns have been a lifesaver. I'm about 40 hours in now and I still smile every time I walk past the little pond. Anyone else make a similar choice and end up loving it more than they expected?

Wait, you mean there are people out there who actually enjoy constantly digging through trash cans and eating soggy seaweed for the first two seasons? I picked the forest farm too and honestly the free hardwood alone feels like cheating compared to the beach's whole "good luck getting a decent sprinkler before year 3" vibe. That little pond is basically my emotional support water feature now, so yeah, I'm with you on this one.
