My greenhouse in Stardew Valley got wrecked by a thunderstorm on Year 2, and I ended up liking it more
I was in my second summer in Stardew Valley and had just finished setting up a greenhouse full of ancient fruit. I spent about 3 in game weeks getting those seeds going, checking the sprinklers every morning like clockwork. Then a thunderstorm rolled through and a lightning strike took out two of my sprinklers and a good chunk of my crops. I sat there staring at the screen honestly kind of annoyed, wondering if I should just reload the save. Instead I decided to leave it and replant the empty spots with whatever mixed seeds I had in a chest. A couple of days later the whole left side of the greenhouse had these random wild flowers and blueberries growing in with the ancient fruit, and it looked way nicer than my perfectly planned rows. I keep it that way now and honestly the chaos makes it feel more like a real garden. Has anyone else just let a game disaster play out instead of reloading, and ended up liking the result better?
