Saw a salon in Austin using a kitchen timer for color processing and honestly it made sense
I was in Austin two weeks ago visiting my sister and walked past a small salon with the door propped open. Every stylist station had a plain $8 kitchen timer clipped to the mirror, the wind-up kind you'd use for a turkey. I asked one of them about it and she said they got tired of phones getting dye on them and the salon's app kept logging people out mid-service. Mine lives in my apron pocket and gets gummed up with developer anyway. Anyone here switched to something that cheap and simple, or do you stick with the phone?
