Client said I should be charging more because she "sees the effort," now I'm second guessing my whole price sheet
Last Tuesday a regular who's been coming to me for color for two years said she almost didn't book because my prices felt too low compared to the salon across the street charging $180 for the same service. I've been at $95 for a full highlight and cut since I opened my chair, mostly because I was scared of losing people, and she said it made her worry I was cutting corners on product. Do you raise prices on existing clients all at once or do it in steps so nobody feels blindsided?
