Can we talk about those $300 certification courses that teach you nothing hands on?
I dropped $300 on an online balayage cert last spring and all I got was slideshows, no mannequin, no floor time. Is it just me or is hands on hours at a real chair worth way more than a fancy PDF?
Those online certs are really just a receipt that proves you watched some videos, nothing more. What actually matters to a future client or salon is whether you can hold a brush steady, and no PDF ever tested that.
