A client in Phoenix told me her last stylist 'ruined' her hair with a $200 balayage
She came into my salon last month with this brittle, orange mess and was almost crying. She said the other stylist rushed the foils and used a 40 volume developer on her already colored ends. I had to be honest and tell her it would take two corrective sessions to fix, but we could start that day. Has anyone else had to walk a client back from a really bad color job someone else did?

Honestly, I had a client come in with a similar situation last year. I just focused on what we could do right then, like a deep conditioning treatment to start helping the damage. Told her straight up it would be a process, but showing that immediate care built a lot of trust.

Ugh, that's so rough for her. @rosethompson has the right idea about starting with some immediate care to build trust. It's heartbreaking to see someone that upset over their hair.
