Why does nobody question the sudden push for digital IDs in my county?
Went to renew my driver's license at the DMV in Franklin County two weeks ago and the clerk kept pushing me to sign up for a digital ID app. I said no twice and she got weird about it, said paper licenses are going away by 2026. Something about a private company running the whole system rubs me the wrong way. Has anyone actually looked into who owns these apps?
