Vent: a guy at a Lincoln meetup tried to sell me on flat earth using a level he never took out of the box
Was at a car meet in Lincoln last Saturday and this guy corners me near the food truck, real intense, starts in on how the horizon proves the earth is flat. He pulls out a torpedo level still in the plastic and waves it around like it's evidence, but when I ask him to actually hold it up to the skyline he freezes and says the sun was 'in the wrong spot' that day. I just walked off and got a burger, and he spent the next hour arguing with a guy about drain swirl. Anyone actually get a straight answer out of these folks, or is it always a level with the tag still on it?
