Unpopular opinion: the 2016 debate in my dorm lounge is why I stopped trusting viral clips
I was sitting in the third floor lounge at my old college in Akron watching a live stream of a debate with about 15 people, and someone in the room kept pausing and rewinding one 20 second exchange to prove their point. By the end, half the room was arguing about what a candidate "really meant" based on a clip that was missing the two sentences before it. How do you all deal with folks who build a whole theory off one short clip they found on social media?

My mom does this with 30 second cooking videos and swears the recipe is complete.
