Fully believed 5G towers were causing bird deaths until I read the actual study from 2022

Turns out the study blamed windows and domestic cats for 99% of the deaths, not the towers, so now I owe my neighbor an apology for yelling at him about his cell booster.

Honestly, I was in the same boat for a while. I saw all those headlines about 5G and birds a few years back and figured yes, that made sense because towers are tall and tech is new. Then I actually looked at the 2022 paper from the USGS and it was like 99.4% of bird deaths came from windows and cats, not towers at all. That really changed my mind because the data was right there in black and white, no way to argue with those numbers. Now I just feel dumb for jumping to conclusions without checking the science first.
