Dropped $200 on a night vision scope for spotting vandals - caught my neighbor red-handed

Honestly, I got sick of finding spray paint on my shed every month so I bought a ATN X-Sight 4K Pro scope for $200 on sale. Set it up in my backyard pointing at the alley and on the third night I saw someone at 2 AM. Turned out it was the kid from three houses down and I had the footage to show his parents. Anyone else ever spend cash on surveillance gear that actually paid off?

Honestly, spending $200 and turning your backyard into a stakeout spot feels like a lot of effort when you could have just put up a cheap security light and called it done. Sounds like you dragged a whole production crew in for the one thing a simple camera could have caught.
