Switched from wet curing to a spray on sealer and saved 3 days on my last patio job

Was always told you gotta keep burlap wet for a week or the slab will crack. Did that for 10 years. Last month I had a 400sqft patio in Phoenix and temps hit 105. Boss told me to try this acrylic spray cure instead. I laughed but did it. That stuff formed a film and I just walked away. No hoses, no checking every few hours. Came back 3 days later and the slab had zero cracks. Poured water on it and it beaded up fine. So far so good. Anybody else make the switch and regret it down the road?

Man that Phoenix heat is no joke. I feel you on the burlap thing, it's such a pain to keep up with in that kinda weather. Glad the spray worked out, makes you wonder why we suffered for so long.
