The customer who watched me swap a drive and then asked if I "downloaded more RAM"

Last week at a small business off Route 9, I replaced this lady's dead HDD and she stared at me the whole time. When I finished, she asks "so did you download more RAM while you were in there?" I just handed her the invoice and walked away. Have any of you gotten a question so dumb it made you speechless?

Is that even a real question people ask? You did the right thing walking away, no use in trying to explain.

You gotta have a canned line ready for that. I usually just say "only if you have the right USB port for it" and change the subject before they ask follow ups lol.
