Rant: The 40 minute ladder trip for a 5 minute drill bit swap

Had to drive 20 minutes across Austin twice last Saturday because our borrow list said 'drill bits' but nobody logged which size went back, so has anyone else spent more time chasing missing accessories than actually using the tools?
