Rant: our little tool library just hit 300 checkouts and I nearly missed it
I was going through the log book on Saturday morning and counted 300 checkouts since we opened the shed in the old fire station on Maple Street. What got me was that 112 of those were the same folding ladder, so one tool is doing a third of our work. A guy named Ray signed it out 9 times this spring alone, mostly for gutter work on his rental duplex. I keep wondering if we should buy a second ladder or just tell Ray to hang on to it. Has anyone else tracked which tool in their library carries most of the load, and did that change what you bought next?
112 checkouts on ONE ladder is insane, that thing is basically the whole library at this point. Ray signing it out 9 times in one spring is wild, at that rate just hand him the ladder and buy a new one for everyone else.
