Cleaning everything just adds extra work for people. Most tools are fine with a quick wipe anyway. Seems like making a simple thing too complicated.

Honestly though, how much damage are we really talking about? A little leftover sap or dirt isn't going to ruin most tools overnight. It feels like people are acting like a bit of grime is a total crisis.
