Got lost in my own garage until the shared drill box saved me
Before the tool library opened near my place in Portland, I owned one cheap drill and zero bits that fit anything. Every project meant a 40 minute drive to the big box store and buying a whole kit I would use once. Since we started the shared library in March, I just borrow the impact driver and the mixed bit case for free. Yesterday I needed a 1/4 inch hex socket for a shelf bracket and found it in 5 minutes instead of hunting through drawers. The funny part is my garage is still a disaster but somehow the library makes it look organized. Anyone else find themselves borrowing tools they never knew existed instead of buying more stuff?
