Borrowed a post hole digger, bought my own after one afternoon
Our library's ancient manual auger took me 3 hours to dig 4 holes last Saturday, so I rented a one-person gas model from the hardware store for $38. It finished the same job in 40 minutes with way less back pain, and now I'm wondering if other folks have pushed to add motorized versions to their tool shares or if the noise complaints make it not worth it.
