PSA: I stopped giving advice on the main feed and started using the search box first.

Used to jump into every thread with my two cents, but then I saw the same question about noisy neighbors for the third time this month. Now I check if it's been answered already, which saves everyone time. How do you handle seeing repeat topics?

People get annoyed too easily. Forums are for talking, not perfect efficiency. If a repeat topic bothers you, just scroll past.

Exactly, it's a community board, not a library database. The search function exists, but sometimes people just want a fresh conversation even on an old topic. New members bring new views that can make an old subject interesting again. Getting mad about repeats just makes the place feel unwelcoming.
