Sat through a 2 hour dive plan meeting, went from 30 minute bottom times to 95 after switching to a new hat
Three months back our crew was running a SuperLite 17B on a jobsite in Galveston and we couldn't keep anyone down past 30 minutes without surface intervals eating the whole shift. Swapped to a KM 37 with a lightweight exhaust and the bottom times jumped to 95 minutes with the same tenders and same pot. Nobody changed the tables or the gas, just the hat. Our safety guy said the old reg was fighting the diver on every breath at depth and we didn't even know it. Curious if other guys have seen that kind of swing just from changing the helmet.
