Rant: nobody warned me a hydraulic torque wrench on a wet deck is a bad idea, and I learned it in Galveston last month
Three years in the Gulf and last month on a barge off Galveston I watched a green hat try to break a flange bolt with a torque wrench in the splash zone while the deck was slick, and I told him to switch to a slugging wrench before someone ate a 40 pound tool, so why do so many crews still treat that shortcut as normal?
