Just hit 500 hours on my Kirby Morgan hat and the visor seal is still perfect.

I bought it used off a guy in Mobile two years ago and figured I'd need a new seal kit within a year. I do a lot of harbor work, so it gets pretty beat up. Has anyone else had a piece of gear last way longer than you thought it would?

Doubt you're actually hitting it that hard in harbor work lol. My buddy's visor seal went at like 300 hours doing the same stuff. You sure you're logging your hours right?

Man, this is such a common thing online. People always assume you're lying or messing up your own numbers. It just shows how quick we are to doubt someone's direct experience.
