I finally logged my 500th commercial dive in the Gulf and the number hit me harder than I expected
I was flipping through my old logbook from my bunk in Fourchon and realized I crossed 500 dives sometime during this hitch, which is way more than the 200 or so I figured I had. Doing the math on how many of those were sat dives versus shallow air work really made me think about how my body feels at 38 versus when I started at 24. For the guys with a thousand plus dives, did you ever slow down on purpose or just keep taking the work while it was there?
