Vent: I swapped my weekly pull list from the big shop to a smaller one in town.

The owner at the new place remembered my name after two visits and saved a variant cover for me last week. Anyone else have a better time at a local comic spot?

Isn't it crazy how that small stuff changes the whole experience? My old shop felt like grabbing milk from a grocery store, just a transaction. But when they start to know your taste, it feels like you're actually part of something. That kind of service makes me want to go out of my way to support them, you know? It turns collecting from a habit into a real community thing.
