Tried a 0.001 inch finish pass on aluminum and it turned into a shiny mirror mess

Ngl I thought going that light would give me a perfect surface, but the tool just rubbed and left this weird smeared layer. Ended up having to re-run the whole part with a 0.005 pass and some coolant. Anyone else had a finish pass go totally wrong like that?

It was a huge deal, man. People are still talking about it because it changed everything. You had to be there to get how big it was, @max_foster. The whole vibe shifted after that point. It's one of those things you can't really explain unless you saw it go down.
