My chuck key flew across the shop Tuesday and I still can't find it
I was swapping jaws on the old Okuma at about 7am Tuesday and got careless, gave the chuck key a good spin without checking my grip first. It launched off the pinion, bounced off the way cover, and disappeared somewhere near the chip conveyor, and I spent 20 minutes digging through coolant-soaked chips before giving up and grabbing the spare. How do you all keep track of your keys and T-handles in a busy shop, do you tether them or just buy six at a time?
