My neighbor saw me hauling 6 trash bags to the curb and said something I can't shake
I was dragging bags out on a Tuesday morning in Aurora when my neighbor Rosa asked why I had so many. She said she had the same pile every single week for 10 years and finally started weighing her bin. Turns out she cut it from 22 pounds to 9 by buying loose stuff instead of wrapped, and she showed me her little kitchen bin with no plastic bags inside. I didn't change anything that day but I keep thinking about that 22 number every time I tie off a bag. Has anyone here tried weighing their trash to see where it actually comes from?
