I finally got a smart thermostat and set it to 78 degrees when I'm out, which felt like a big sacrifice in this Texas heat. My bill for June was only $112 compared to $160 the year before, which really shocked me. Do you think personal cuts like this are the best path, or should we push harder for big policy changes instead?
