Remember when we all bought those fancy sous vide circulators?

I dropped $350 on a brand name one back in 2015, thinking it was the future. Used it maybe a dozen times before it just sat in a box. For most of the stuff I cook, it just added an extra step I didn't need. Anyone else have a piece of gear that seemed like a must-have but turned into a cabinet queen?

Oh man, the sous vide thing is so real. I got one as a gift and felt like a science chef for a month. Now it's just taking up a whole drawer. For me it was a fancy pasta maker. I was gonna make fresh pasta every week, but it's such a mess to clean. That thing hasn't seen flour in years.

What about those expensive juicers that promised a health revolution?
