Went to a free outdoor movie in the park and now I skip the theater entirely
The city runs movies on the lawn at Crestview Park every Friday in summer and I finally went three weeks ago with my girlfriend. You just bring a blanket and snacks from home, and it cost us $0 since parking is free after 6. Anyone know of other towns doing this, or is it mostly a summer thing where you live?

movies on the lawn at Crestview Park" sounds like such a vibe. my buddy's town does the same thing but they stopped in early august, so it's pretty much a summer only deal around there. he said the fall ones got cancelled cuz it gets dark too early and everyone freezes lol. some places near him moved it to a parking lot in winter and you watch from your car, which sounds kinda fun honestly. tell your girl to bring a hoodie next time tho, my friend learned that one the hard way
