That Tuesday in Council Bluffs when the power stretcher died and a 12 year old saved my week
Two summers back I had a 900 foot job in Council Bluffs and my power stretcher quit on me halfway through the second bedroom. I was ready to pack it in until the homeowner's kid, Marcus, asked if he could watch me work and then started handing me tools before I even asked. I finished the rest of that house on a knee kicker with him keeping me company, and it took me an extra 6 hours but the carpet never looked tighter. Any of you still keep a kicker in the truck as a backup, or am I the only one who learned that lesson the hard way?
