Paid $220 for a track saw and honestly it was worth every dollar
I fought buying a track saw for years. Thought my circular saw with a straight edge guide was fine. Then I had to rip 12 sheets of birch plywood for a closet build in Tacoma and my straight edge kept slipping. Said screw it and grabbed a cheap track saw, not the festool, just a budget one. That thing paid for itself in one weekend. No more chipped edges, no more measuring twice because the cut was crooked. I know some guys swear by table saws for everything, but for sheet goods, a track saw is a game changer. Has anyone else spent money on a tool they thought was overhyped and ended up being the best purchase they made that year?
