Started printing out job listings at the library and my callback rate doubled
I applied to about 40 jobs online from my kitchen table over 3 months in Cleveland and heard back from 2 of them. Last month I started printing each listing at the library for 15 cents and writing notes by hand on the paper before I applied, and I got 3 callbacks in 2 weeks. Is there some reason reading a listing on paper makes me pick better jobs, or am I just making up a pattern here?
