Yeah, my brain is basically a tangled ball of yarn until I walk it off. @ruby_thomas is right, it's the best reset button. I'm just bad at remembering to actually press it.

Totally get that connection. Found the same thing myself when I'd get stuck on a tricky wiring diagram, a quick loop around the block would straighten my head out. Something about the rhythm of walking just lets your brain untangle the messy stuff in the background. Started treating it like a required reset button instead of just a break. Now I plan for a short walk before any big mental task, almost without fail.

Remember my buddy who was trying to learn guitar? He kept messing up the same chord change for weeks, just banging his head against the wall. One day he got so mad he just got up and walked to the store for a drink. Came back, picked up the guitar, and nailed it first try. He said his hands just knew what to do after his brain took a break. Makes you wonder how much we fight ourselves by just staring at a problem.
