Just hit 50k in my savings account and I feel nothing about it

I've been grinding for years, taking extra shifts and skipping vacations to build a safety net. The number popped up on my bank app this morning and it just felt like a normal Tuesday. Is this a normal way to feel when you reach a big money goal?

I used to think hitting 25k would feel like a party. When I got there last year, it was just a quiet relief. The goalpost just moves, you know? Now I'm just focused on the next number.

Know exactly what you mean. Hit 30k last month and felt the same quiet drop instead of a celebration. You just reset the counter and start climbing again.
