Thought the pool noodle corner trick was a gimmick, my kid proved me wrong in one afternoon
I saw a post on here a while back about slicing pool noodles lengthwise and fitting them over the sharp edges of box forts, and I honestly rolled my eyes. Figured it was one of those Pinterest things that looks good but falls off the second a kid bumps it. Then my daughter's 6th birthday party happened at our place in Reno and I had 8 kids running through a 12 box fort in the living room, and I had already taped every edge twice because I was paranoid about paper cuts on the flaps. We lost the tape on 4 corners in the first 20 minutes, so I dug out an old noodle from the garage and cut it into 6 pieces. Two hours later not one piece had come off, and the kids were leaning on the corners like a couch. Now I keep a bag of noodles in the closet with the tape. Has anyone tried this on the inside of a tunnel section where kids crawl through, does it hold up or slide around?
