Serious question, did you know a fridge box can hold 400 lbs on its side?
I was flipping through an old moving company pamphlet from my uncle's shop in Toledo and it said a standard fridge carton rates for about 400 lbs when it's laid on its side. Tbh I had my son sit on ours and it barely dented, so I tested it with two bags of concrete and it held fine. Now my fort's second floor is a fridge box instead of the flimsy Amazon ones I was stacking. Has anyone else built load bearing walls out of appliance boxes, and how did you brace the corners?
