Shoutout to the Tuesday when three camera repairs in a row came out perfect
Last Tuesday I had a Nikon FG with a stuck shutter, a Canon AE-1 with a bad mirror bumper, and an Olympus OM-10 with a dead meter all on my bench at once, and every single one worked on the first test fire. Normally I get maybe one clean job out of three, so going 3 for 3 in one afternoon felt like the repair gods were smiling on me. Does anyone else track their hit rate on first-try fixes, or do you just take the wins where you can get them?

Man that feeling when they all just work is unreal. Had a similar run last month with a Pentax K1000, a Minolta SRT101, and some random Ricoh that all needed light seal foam jobs. Did all three on a Saturday morning and every meter read dead on after. My usual rate is like 50/50 at best so I was walking around the shop like I just won the lottery. Tuesdays must be lucky for repairs I swear, every time I try this on a Monday something goes sideways.
