Question about a stuck shutter curtain on a Nikon F3

I was fixing an F3 for a client in Austin last week and the second curtain just froze halfway. I thought the whole gear train was shot, but after checking the service manual, I found a tiny bit of old lube had gummed up the pivot post. I cleaned it with a drop of naphtha on a cotton swab and it ran smooth. Anyone else run into this on the F3 or similar bodies?

Did you check the governor assembly for old grease too? That's another common spot for that kind of hang-up.
