A guy at a camera swap in Austin told me to quit cleaning the focusing screen on my F3, and now I get why
I was messing with a used F3 at a swap meet in Austin last month and the seller watched me try to wipe a smudge off the screen with a cloth. He said "every screen you clean is one you'll scratch, just leave the dust alone" and it bugged me the whole drive home. Is that actually how you all handle it, or do you pull the screen for a real wet clean when it gets bad?
