Vent: fiber drop pulled through a raccoon latrine

Last Thursday I was running a new drop behind a strip mall in Tulsa and the coax kept snagging on something. I pulled harder, then got a whiff that made my eyes water. Turns out the previous crew had left a coil under an old AC pad and a raccoon turned it into its bathroom spot. I had to cut out 12 feet of cable, reterminate both ends, and soak my gloves in bleach before I could touch the truck. Anyone else ever find wildlife living in their buried lines?
