Pro tip: My zip tie hack for windy rooftop runs actually held up

I was about to lose it with cables slapping around in the gusts yesterday. But looping a spare zip tie to create a little anchor (simple, right?) kept everything snug for the rest of the afternoon.

Wow, a zip tie. Real groundbreaking tech there. Next you'll tell me you used a rock to hold down a tarp. I love when people discover that the simplest junk in your toolbox often works better than the fancy gear you overpaid for. It's almost like engineers spend years overcomplicating solutions we already have in a drawer. Glad it worked, but it's funny how we all forget the obvious stuff until we're desperate.

Read about the KISS principle in an old manual once.
