Just finished a job in a new apartment complex off Elm Street and the builder used the absolute worst cable routing I've ever seen.
Every single unit has the coax and ethernet lines run right alongside the main electrical conduit, no separation at all. I'm talking maybe an inch of space, running parallel for about 15 feet through the utility closet. The interference was so bad the modem couldn't even sync. Had to completely re-run a new line for the customer, which added 2 hours to the install. Builders are cutting corners everywhere now. Has anyone else run into this in new construction lately, and what's your fix?
