I finally gave in and tried compression fittings for RG6 instead of crimp connectors

For like 5 years I swore by crimp connectors. Thought compression fittings were just a waste of money and extra steps. But last week I had a job where I kept getting intermittent signal loss on a long run. My buddy handed me a compression fitting and told me to just try it. Fixed the problem instantly and I kinda feel dumb for being so stubborn about it. Anyone else have a hard time switching up their go to method on something simple like this?

I had the same stubborn streak with my old antenna hookups, swore by the crimp style for years. Once I switched to compression fittings on a tricky outdoor run, everything just clicked and I never looked back.

Did you see that new compression fitting video @olivia_anderson posted last week?
