Spent 6 hours on a face frame last Tuesday before I realized I was measuring to the wrong edge
Was building a face frame for a 36 inch vanity in my shop on Delmar St and kept coming up 1/8 inch short on every rail. Must have recut the top rail 5 times before my neighbor Dave stopped by and pointed out I was hooking my tape on the outside edge of the stile instead of the inside. Felt like such a dummy but honestly it made me rethink how I mark my cut lines altogether. Does anyone else have a bad tape habit they had to break?
