Had to pick between a bandsaw and a grinder last week, went with the saw
My old grinder died after 9 years and I only had $600 to work with. I stood in the shop for 20 minutes trying to figure out if I should just replace it or finally get a proper bandsaw for breaking down primals. Ended up with a used 14 inch saw I found on Craigslist in Fresno, and breaking down a whole ribeye primal took me half the time it used to. Anyone here run both in a small shop, or did you have to pick one too?
