Dropped $90 on a used meat grinder at a flea market in Fresno, and it sprayed grease all over my kitchen
Saw it sitting on a folding table with a $90 tag, seller swore it ran like new. Got it home, ran one pound of pork shoulder through it, and the auger seal blew out and shot gray grease across my cabinets and my dog. Turns out the gearbox was packed with the wrong lube and the whole thing was shot. What do you all check first on a used grinder before handing over cash?
