I finally had a perfect week in inventory management after 6 months of chaos

Last month, our warehouse was a mess with stockouts on 3 key items every single week, costing us around $2k in lost sales. Then I cleared a whole Thursday to reorganize our bins and fix the reorder points in our system, and suddenly everything just clicked with zero issues for a full 5 days. Has anyone else had a random week where your operations actually run smooth, or is that just a myth?

Gotta disagree with you on this one @richard_kelly54. In my experience, smooth weeks are like unicorns - you hear about them but you never actually see one. The problem is that one small thing going wrong can throw everything off balance, like a kid getting sick or a package not showing up on time. Maybe this works for some people, but I've tried similar tricks and they just added more pressure when things didn't go perfectly. Just my two cents though, your results might be totally different.
