Hot take: Spending $400 on a fancy project management tool was a complete waste for my team

I signed us up for Asana Premium last month, thinking it would streamline everything... but we ended up spending more time updating tasks than actually doing work. Now my team is split - half say it's the tool, the other half says it's how we use it. Has anyone else dumped a pricey ops tool after realizing it just created more admin work?

Binned Trello after a month for the same reason. Tools only work if everyone actually buys in, otherwise it's just busywork.
