Hit $50k in monthly recurring revenue, nearly missed the warning signs
We crossed this milestone last month and I thought everything was great until I ran the numbers closer. Turns out our churn rate crept up from 5% to 8% over the same period, which eats about $4k a month in future income. I got so focused on landing new contracts that I ignored why a handful of smaller accounts were leaving quietly. The thing that surprised me was that one product feature we never promoted, batch invoicing, was the reason most of the longer-tenured clients stayed. Now I'm redoing our onboarding checklist and checking in with anyone who downgrades within 90 days. Has anyone else hit a growth goal and only later spotted a leak that was building the whole time?

The quiet exits sneak up on you like that... batch invoicing being the glue is a wild find. Churn does the real damage while you are busy celebrating the new wins. Good thing you caught it at 8%, cause that number gets ugly fast.
